Is there a max. limit to the thickness of grouting?

Between / under tiles?

As a surface?

Depends a lot on application, residential or commercial

Lobby or food handling area

Leveling for a machine base

But for the most part - no.

Recommendations, accepted "norms" but until you get to industrial (in the US) not so much

So what is your application that we might answer better?
