DIN Washer Materials

06/25/2009 4:37 PM

I am working for a small aerospace distribution company. We were asked to supply a din washer (DIN9021B3.2AL) to a customer. The question the customer raised is what material does the AL stand for? We were told by England company it is not aluminum but they can not prove it. Our company is trying to find a print or standard proving what the AL stands for. Can anyone please help me?

Thanks. Comes about as often as a good golf swing.
