Blue-Ray Recorders

06/26/2009 2:42 PM

I was just looking for a blue ray recorder. I googled, and the third link gave me a lot of company names (producers). On top of their pictures it was this:

Blue-ray Recorders

Blue-ray recorders are currently only available in Japan, this section will be updated as soon as recorders become available outside of Japan.

What is your opinion? ( I think that are a lot of engineers, in this forum, with electrical/electronics background!

I don't really think blue ray is that good. Unless you have a huge HD telly, there is no real advantage.

It is not huge, only 52 inch. But it is a big difference seeing HD movies. What I couldn't find, easily, was a home blue-ray recorder, not a pc one. But, as with any new technology, it looks that it is better to wait a little.

Record in HD format then run the blu-ray codec when playing the media
