AT Some place i found material specification is SA 516 GR 70N .Pl. explain me meaning of N ?

N= Normalised condition

As per the SA516, usually

plates with thickness <1.5" will be supplied in hot rolled condition unless you specifically ask for normalised.

>1.5" in normalised condition (unless otherwise asked)
