blown cap

have blown a 2200 micro farad cap rated at 63v at 5.3 amps can i fit a 2200 at 100volt with no alteration to operation and discharge time

Yes, assuming it is the same sort of cap... if it looks vaguely similar you are probably (99%) OK.
