Steel Quality - Domex 240 and S 235 JRG 2

06/29/2009 4:25 AM

Domex 240 is a trade name for a Swedish steel quality in sheet metal suitable for laser cutting and bending. S235, I am told, is similar, but not a homogenous and suitable for bending. Can anybody confirm this, os set me straight?

S 235 JRG 2 indicates to me that S235 comes with different designations. Is any - and if which - similar to Domex 240 in bending qualities?
