Protel DXP Gerber Files

06/29/2009 11:14 PM

I am not with EE back ground, my friend made a PCB using Protel DXP, exported the Gerber files, including .GBL, .GTL, .GTO, .CAM files. However the manufacturer said the Gerber files are not of 274x,274d format therefore cannot be recognized. So how to generate the files in 274x/274d format?

I realize it's been some time since you posted your request, so maybe you have resolved the situation. If not, I may be able to help. I do printed circuit design, so I have a lot of tools at my disposal. Reply here if you are still looking for some help with this.
