I'm afraid no one will be able to help you unless you pose a question, or problem to solve.

What are you trying to design?

What "Brilliant Ideas" are you referring to?

Is this for your senior project at school?

I'm sure many "Brilliantly minded" people would be more than willing to help, but you've got to throw them a bone.

Sure, I can help. Design a poring lip for automatic coffee maker carafes so that the coffee stream breaks clean when you tip it up. Most of them do this just fine with plain water but coffee tends to run back under the lip and onto your best pants/the cookie tray/the cat. The lip has to be capable of being made in Pyrex and the cost delta must be minimal (perhaps less than $0.02).

You may be onto something there TVP45... I've had enough shirts/pants/cookies/cat's ruined due to a poorly designed coffee pot tip.... OK OP, Design it, and i'll be your first paying customer.

was that a cat screaming in pain from spilt hot tea poured from an improperly-designed-teapot-lip?
