Level Transmitter Math Question

07/18/2009 4:58 PM
  1. Using the following calibration data, what pressure input pressure would be applied to simulate 25% level? How do I do the math for similar questions?

a) Calibrated pressure range = 70 in H2O (0% to 100% level)

b) Wet reference leg = 110 in H2O on high side

c) When d/p is 0 in H2O tank level is maximum

Check here for your answer. You'll want to see the homework section.

Dear Guest,

Straight to the answer: 25% Level will corrospond to -51.25 inH2O. (Minus 51.25 in H2O). This is true if you do bench calibration & range of your transmitter be -70 to 0 in H2O.

Regards,

I think he is asking for 0 to 70 range with 110 in H2O on low side (reference leg)
