What is the minimum distance between the tanks for Calss III B- Sterines, palm oil etc liquids? Do we need to keep the tankages 30 m away from the property boundary?

Check your regulations. The US has several governing agencies that regulate tanks and their placement.

Go and check first the OSHA department in your state. If your plant is a big one you have to ask to your safety engineer first before OSHA.

If you have project management department, the project manager must have the scope and the installation requirements and specs. The project manager has the general lay-out for the plant, including piping, structure, pumps, electricity service, drainage etc.

Your safery engineer must have all the RESTRICTIONS about installations of any kind.

To build, welding, fabrication, stamping by ASME, installation, safety and continuos inspection is so important and tanks and tanks under pressure.
