What is the best engineering firm on earth?

The one I work for (you would be suprised at the stuff I get up to).

No seriously, can you please provide more information as I am not sure what your question is (is it regarding you looking for a job or are interested in general company recruitment techniques).

How does the recruitment for that kind of company?

Oh, perhaps you mean "Who does the recruitment for that kind of company?". In that case, what sort of (mechanical?) engineering are you interested in?

More information please (and no we have no job openings for you)!

NO, i am not searching any job vacancy right here.. I just want to know about the recruitment method of those engineering firms, do they recruit fresh graduate or only experienced engineer.

All great companies recruit the best of both experienced engineers and bright young graduates as appropriate. It is the understanding of the "as appropriate" that makes them great companies.

Bechtel would rank up there (especially in largest firms)

Also, any of the major Oil & Gas players - Shell, Exxon, BP, ......

But, as stated above, "Best" is VERY relative, and does not necessarily mean largest. Small firms that are very dynamic/cutting-edge/flexible/...... that allow a lot of free-thought/movement/freedom ...... may be more appealing to someone than a large O&G firm that are set in their ways.

Engineering is too broad a topic, a firm specialising in making medical implants probably has no idea about oil piplines and vice versa.

Gentlemen,

I would have to say there are none. Each company is made up of their own talent and areas of expertise, so one would say that it is definately not individual companies with one being the best.

Thank You.

Hello Premium, in addition to your quest of knowing how the best company recruit their employees I would suggest also to take a look on how you can hold your best employees. Recruiting is one thing, holding your recruits is another thing. Just a thought. :)

Long ago some would say IBM. It depends on your field of interest.
