Wind-Powered Barbeque Technology

08/01/2009 11:18 PM

"Summer Fun Again" and Brainstorming, Here we go again Pal's check this Out. A -Wind Powered Barbecue Set- idea consisting of a portable "WindGenThermic Unit" that supply the energy to run the barbecue heating elements by arrangement of an step-up power converter unit compound of all the neccessaraly features like transformer-capacitors-etc. to make use of this -WindPowerJuice- for cooking and cooling purposes. We'll probably as well hook-up into it one of those -ThermoElectric Coolers- to keep some beverages cool at same time, Heeeyyy.....? Who Knows? Bring the FireExtinguisher anyway for compliance. Lol!! Don't bring it to the bank yet!! and Let me know later if something POP-UP, you have the technology Buddies............Easy Does It.........I'll Buy It... Yeeeaaahh Suurrrreee.......!!!

I hope you are not planning to drive anywhere tonight! Put a fork in you.

Some days the only air movement you will have would be from the elbow lifting to drink the beer.

What about an emergency elbow powered gen set?

sounds like an interesting idea.. but,

1) usually when the wind starts blowing it is time to pack and leave the beach or whatever..batten down the hatches because the summer heat has spawned an electrical storm, which is now on the way.

2) you can cook faster in the sunshine with a solar oven.

3) I do think that if you had a wind powered cooking unit, it would be useful in the winter, especially if portable. (at least here in canada)

4) when the world runs out of hydrocarbons, it will be a return to nature. either you will burn wood to cook, or use a windmill to cook and heat water, etc.

good idea.. nice technology to have mapped out.

Idea is great.

We have farmhouses which are situated in wind belt. There is no grid supply. Diesel-Gen sets are used for power. Wind power is the natural solution. But the cost is prohibitive.

It needs wind power plus a reliable energy storage. The initial system may be designed with three day power autonomy.

While you are waiting for someone to invent the over unity step-up power converter you could use the oncoming electrical storm to advantage..

Fly a kite, wire the sausages in series with the line and wait for the lightning to cook them. Absolutely no risk of undercooked meat. You might need some containment vessel to so don't have to search too far to find the cooked meat.

Sir,

When you want to have a joyful barbecue day on windy conditions, it is easy to produce electricity and use electric resistance to cook...

The problem is the energy and joy balance between energy conversion and barbecue heat...

YEEEAAAAHHH! I got the point, not easy cookey I know but at least we gaved a shot just for the heck of it. All good feedbacks here do makes sense, positevely, you got it. Good point to set-up a solar panel directly instead, not bad tip at all. Heeeyyyy!

All sounds good so far we'll keep up checking out then and hang in there until next time and be good first. Gooosssh!! I have to step out now, we'll check out later........
