Please provide much more information as we have absolutely no idea what field of engineering you are in and what level of qualification the project is for. Is a model bridge made of used wooden ice block sticks and string suitable, how about a SCADA system of a simulated working nuclear reactor.

Is this even for school or a personal or job project?
