Email Address

08/13/2009 4:50 PM

I've been waiting a few hours now to get a response from someone officially affiliated with CR4 to learn what characters can't be used in your email address to register. Since no one has responded (and I can't find it elsewhere in the forums or in the FAQ page - could be my fault), if anyone knows the answer to this, please post it. Thanks.

If you have a legitimate email address, why would any of the characters be "nonallowed"?

I don't know, that's just part of the verbiage that comes up when you try to register. As it turns out, it was just a long delay in the activation email getting through. And a kind member of the CR4 staff did contact me. He wasn't aware of what characters would be non-allowed, but the fact is that this is mentioned when registering an email address -- unless I dreamed it up while daydreaming at my desk, while registering.

Obviously, my email address IS legitimate since I got the activation email eventually. (I swear, some people here tend to think all GUEST posts are evil.)
