Commercial Space on the Home Page?

08/15/2009 10:24 PM

CR4 "Sections" on the homepage do not list Commercial Space.

I don't see why it ought not be there in between Civil Engineering and Communications and Electonics, unless I have miss alphabetized it.

Another suggestion would be that in the "Sections" there was a reference back to the sponsor, Global Spec.

Overall, I'd say, it has been a Slow News Week.

This has been the case locally and globally from what I can tell, and is a good thing, for I tire of Drama.

This appears in the upper right-hand corner on CR4, and clicking on it brings one to the GlobalSpec home page:

Actually that is different from the Commercial Space of CR4.

It is not obvious that to click there on "Powered by Globalspec" takes you to Globalspec.

CR4 is an extremely well designed website.

I want it to do well.

Since Globalspec pays for it I want Globalspec to do well.

If I didn't note that clicking on the Globalspec logo took you there, then it is likely others don't.

When visiting CR4 I go to Sections and click on areas of interest or knowledge.

It has been a really slow news week all round so I am scratching for things to say or think about other than my individiual and personal desperations.

Crossed my mind that Commercial Space was a legitimate CR4 section, and I think it ought rightly be listed in the Sections column.

It did not cross my mind, til you mentioned it, to put Globalspec in the Sections column as well, though, it may be a good idea for site navigation and profit to the organization.
