Energy Conservation and Management

hai..i finished b.tech EEE and i've choosed energy conservation and management as my m.tech program...i want to know about the scope of the program in upcoming future.. i've lot of confussion about it..i fear that i've choosed a wrong one....can anyone please clarify my doubt...
