book suggestion?, buckling of columns with raylegh ritz and energy method?

08/25/2009 12:28 PM

Can someone please give me some tips on good books that can teach me how to use the raylegh ritz method for buckling of beams, not plates!!!

I am particulary interested in books discussing the end conditions of the functions chosed to use in the metod. For instance the if the function has curvature in an end where it can't withstand a moment, that will be bad etcetc...
