PLC system of Plastics molding machine

How PLC system in Plastics molding machine can be clasified?if old branded machine got corrupted PLC system, what would be remedies to rectify maintenence trouble shooting? Need detail breifing of PLC system of Plastics molding machine?

If the PLC is still operable, its program may need to be re-loaded from its backup files. If it is not operable, then it needs to be replaced and the program loaded into it from backup files.

Unfortunatly injection molding is old and now its backup file is not available, how it could be replace with other available HMI/CPU system, Please let know were to contact for rectification?
