structural analysis for ships

08/29/2009 12:25 PM

Hello, I am looking for books on structural analysis on ships, but there are so many, and I can't find anyone that contains what I need.

I am learning about how forces go from the plates, to stiffeners, then to the beams and then to the panels, do you know any books that has this subject?

If you're NOT designing in allowable stress design, I would recommend:

Paik, Jeom Kee. Ultimate Limit State Design of Steel-Plated Structures. 2006.

Just a suggestion. Let us know what you decide to use.
