three weeks of clean-up, and what is not politely conversed so-
i got my motor-home...extension corded to the basement and started pumping.
i tore-out floors broke and repaired piping----short and sweet of this request for help and ideas.....i want a power plant similiar tothe onan in the motor home.
i can mount it under the steps....a concrete shell.
but i want it to run on natural gas, not propane or gasoline or diesel.
i want it self starting if the power goes off, is it possible to do this without batteries, but a battery pack booster, or a similiar thing as to what is emergency-back up on my computer?
i do not need a large genset....enough to run the furnace fan...natural gas furnace in house 2 -enough to run the sump-pump.and maybe a crock-pot
i think i can get a small natural gas burner, for emergency cooking.
this is all emergency settings. i forsee a possible difficulty-
power upply goes off -hydro-
emergency generator kicks in.
now how do i wire into the sump, the furnace fan, and a seperate plug for crock-pot, without it arguing against or overloading anything when the power comes on, do i need to set a seperate plug and switch for the sump pump.
i can see thet if any-one can help me here...this type of a package would be so helpfull----summer or winter, town or country.
if possible i do not want to use batteries but locate everything inside excapt the gen-set, if this could be totally automatic great, as i am not always home. ideas and feed back much appreciated.
