PV Solar System Diagram

08/30/2009 11:45 PM

Please send me diagram of connection of off-grid PV solar system with this details. AC 220V, 50Hz I want use 60 modules of 170W for 10kW system, PV modules have this characteristics 170w:Voc=44.45V,Isc=4.99A,Vmp=34.5-34.8V,Imp=4.59-4.63A. Best regards, Srdjan

Interpreting:

What is wanted is a way of getting from 44.45VDC to 220VAC 50Hz at around 10kW?

  • Wire the cells in series-parallel configuration to provide a voltage source greater than 220V.
  • Connect the array into the input of a 10kW inverter.
  • Connect the inverter output onto the load.
  • "Robert is your mother's brother."

Thank you for answer. I know this but I try small details (protection of PV modules) Suggestion for way of connecting of PV modules (5x12 grid or 60x1) ? Your choice for controller(s) and invertor

<...protection of PV modules...>

A silicon rectifier in series with the output of each bank?

<...connecting of PV modules...>

A series/parallel arrangement that gives the required voltage and current. 5 x 44V in series = 220V, perhaps, and then arrange for numbers of banks of 5 in parallel? Treat them like batteries.

<...choice for controller(s) and invertor...>

Google for inverter suppliers and select the most cost-effective one for the desired output at wherever is the location of the desired installation on the planet. That suggestion cannot be made from here.
