It is obvious you are a 'sales executive' if you think it is even faintly possible to..

1. It is too broad a field.
2. It is impossible to send 'knowledge' you will have to gain that for yorself...we can only send 'information'.
3. You should be familiarising yourself with the products in your portfolio, by talking to fitters/engineers/stores people or attending suitable training courses.
4. I do have some sympathy for your attemp to gain knowledge, but in thinking it is a simple matter you appear to insult those who have spent many years accumulating a weath of knowledge and experience.

I'm affraid you will probably get a harsh response from a forum like this as we are generally unhappy about the poor level of knowledge and disspropotionate remuneration of sales 'executives' who have no product knowledge and probably lose more sales than they create.

Last week I heard of a chemical sales guy in a laundry who complained that he'd got 'white paint' on his hands from a pipe.... it was his own destainer chemical...needless to say his breathtaking lack of product knowledge made him look foolish and lost the sale.

I hope this doesn't offend, but informs and may be helpful to you.

There's a world of information/knowledge at your finger tips.

You need to intimately know your products and MOST importantly how your products can make your client's life more happy. You can have the greatest product in the world, but if the guy across the table doesn't see it as solving his problem, you're not going to make a sale.

It is amazing that someone could be that out of touch with reality to ask this question. All YOU GUYS that spent years in school and years on the job just bundle all the information you have and send it. No problem. However it will take a few dozen years to put this information on DVD's to mail. Who is paying for the postage?

Go to Amazon.com and search for electrical books. There are probably only 5 or 6 hundred that you can choose from and start reading.

You are asking for a lot. Why not Google each product you are interested in learning about this works most the time. You can always come back here an ask a specific question.
