Is anybody aware of machine vision system for inspecting inner / outer races of cylindrical / taper roller bearings? Could you please point me to web sites of suppliers of these systems?

Thanks for your reply.

I understand the system needs to rotate and image the race with the help of 2 (or more) cameras and then process the images to detect defects and measure dimensions. I have looked at what Keyence has to offer but they do not seem to have such a system to inspect bearing races.

Metso Automation has a system they call Sensodec. It is vibration analysis, but you enter in the type/size of the bearing and through complicated calculations can determine whether the vibrations are coming from the inner race, outer race, etc.
