Subscribing to CR4 Discussions

09/12/2009 9:19 PM

Before yesterday I never unsubscribed from any discussions as long as I've been on CR4.

I noticed a month or so ago that my number of updated discussions never got higher than 199. There must be some bit of programing that automatically decides to unsubscribe a few discussions.

Any guidelines?

Occasionally a very old thread will be discovered by a new member & will have fresh insights.

Try counting the subscribed discussions in your list. I've got over 14 pages, with (I think) 100 on each page.

Hey give me a minute, I'm just following up on the other reply

On a different forum I would mark as solved.

I have about 800 subscriptions...

I hate using the PM system here, even after I read them, more mouse clicks just to mark them as read

I'm going through & doing some clean up

the #1 reason I've left a comment hanging is it's from a guest...

#2 is the comment is mine, this would be a shortcoming in the software

according to the notes I have 491 updated discussions.

It does seem that sometimes recently that notices of updates may, or may not appear in my regular email box.

Typically I do ask to be notified of new comments, though sometimes I don't.
