Trebuchet Help

09/16/2009 5:58 PM

I am building a trebuchet for my AP Physics class and was wondering if anyone could help me. I am Trying to figure out how wide to build the base if it is 10 ft long. I also need to know the lateral strength of a steel rod that can hold 500 lbs to fit that width. I appreciate the help!

We don't do homework. Once you have a plan, BOM and some idea how you would like to proceed, come on back and we will help.

Lynlynch is right. You haven't learned how to think. You should be doing research into the subject through the internet or library on your own. After all, it's your project, not ours. If you did the research, you might just find all the answers you need. We are here to fill in the blanks if you need us.
