May find some helpful information about the power of the axis here. Then again, maybe you won't.

Axis of Evil? The government has information about how powerful they are. Here's a short primer: http:axis of evil

T4,

The answers you are getting are a reflection of the form of your question.

Without saying anything about "student" or "homework" you should just say something like: I would like to know some ways to measure axial power (specify optical or mechanical or whatever) and which are most economical.

Now smack yourself on the back of your head and try again.

We are not mind readers.

The CIA determines a country's capabilities, economy, industrial capacity etc by the consumption (internal production and imports) of sulfuric acid. Very few things get made without sulfuric acid in the process somewhere. Reagent grade sulfuric acid may be $ 50 US a liter from a chemical supply house, but industrial grade is cents a pound.

thats pretty sad you all had time to write smart a*$ quips but you couldn't drop the slightest bit of insight or information when you obviously knew what this guy was talking about. I had thought these blogs were a decent source of information, guess not....

And your response is even longer... but still fails to answer the question. I've had many decades of experience in a very broad range of industries... and I cannot claim to know what the heck the OP is asking. On-axis laser power? Power consumed by one axis at one point in time of a CNC machine? Power consumed by one axis of a robot? Axis of evil? Axis vs Allies. Power at an axle, mistranslated as axis? Axis as it pertains to education, the category under which this is posted? How could one possible know?

Evidently you know. So answer the question instead of criticizing those with legitimate concerns over the profound vagueness of the question. If ever there was a case of the pot calling the kettle black...

Hi Guest,

Just a couple of points.

Firstly, The OP's request was and is so vague that it is not answerable.

Second, This is not a Homework help site. Please read this as sent in request to what the Admins thoughts are about possible homework help.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'd suggest using this snippet from the CR4 site policy instead.

  • Do your own homework. CR4 is not a homework cheat site. While some here might relish the opportunity to sharpen up old rusty skills by working the homework problem, consider this and consider it well. If you cheat on your homework by using someone else's answers, you are only cheating yourself, because the purpose of any homework or other college assignments is to help you learn - by practice, repetition, and self-discovery. (thanks STL Engineer)

Best,

Moose

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The OP says they are a Student, which in my books means homework?

A Student would have already discussed any topic they need help on, in class, so perhaps they should take more notice of what it taught before trying to '---perhaps'--- cheat the system. I have searched using the same search terms as a student has sent in before now, and gotten back several other sites that student has asked exactly the same question on.

And, why can the OP not search the web for what they want?

They would need to be much more sensible when differentiating the subject though.

Please note before you make any reply, that it is not that I/we do not want to reply and help...................... BUT WE CANNOT!!!!!!!!

Take care.

Guest, we help anyone who asks sensible questions. Now how are we expected to know exactly in what context the OP means by "Axis"? And frankly, even if I knew what he/she is referring to as axis here, I still would not answer the question. Why? Because he/she has to do his/her own homework first, that's why! Now, if the OP had done his/her own homework first, and then asked us to check if it was done correctly, then that's different. THAT, we don't mind helping out on.

Now as you said, you thought these blogs are a decent source of information, and they are. You have just learnt a very important lesson from reading this thread, namely, there's no such thing as a free lunch. You want answers, go work on them first, and then get people who know better to check them. That way, you learn what is correct and what is not, something you would never learn if you keep needing to be spoonfed.

Perhaps you might want to apply this valuable little lesson in YOUR life.

There are fifteen ways to measure the axis power. And the cheapest one is the tenth.

Hi T4lkito,

To add to DVader1000 post number 13............................

When a question is asked, anyone here still has to spend time and sometimes a whole lot of effort to reply and finally answer the requested info' completely.

Do you think there is some other 'secret' site we go to to find info"? We do as you should have done, namely, to research whatever you want to find out. It is hardly Rocket Science. But if you do not learn to search efficiently and learn where to concentrate and focus your mind now, you will not 'automatically' know how to figure out the everyday things which have to be accomplished in any kind of job.

There has never been anyone behind me to ask question of. When I was at work I would see a problem and figure it out. Anything from getting a 'size' correct, to having to strip down a broken machine, after first diagnosing it actually did need stripping down.

I doubt you will ever read this..................tooooo much hard work trying to understand all that sh-t right?................... Well, that seems to be your attitude................................

Take care.
