In a cruel assault of thriftiness, my exhaust pipe has thermally fractured at the flange approximately 9 inches from the Catalytic converter and the rear O2 sensor. The location and size of the hole renders it "unweldable." The muffler isn't that good either, therefore a replacent of upto two-thirds of the length of the exhaust line seems necessary.
Unless...there exists some metallurgy technique that might suffice.
