If we're talking about electronics, one of the best sources I know of is the old sci.electronics.repair Usenet group. It's been brought into the WWW world, and has lots of good information.

Sam Goldwasser is my idol, a man who really knows his stuff. Many of the FAQ's and troubleshooting guides on the site were written by him.

Regards.

Such orgs should have Test-Benches for Important-Cards to support their products.

By the way in which country & area your company is operting, it is needed to give you the correct setups dealing.

And what is the volume of your job requests.

I started my career with an electrical contractor; grown up as electrical maintenance special list and to facilities/ maintenance head. 28 yrs back I have started learning electronics as a hobby. Now my hobby is feeding me and my family. Now I am working as Electronics maintenance head.

So learn with passion. Love enjoy to learn. One can learn reading a "Balance sheet" by reading a 20 page pocket book but not maintenance.

A small tip: Learn to "cold-check components". Most ICs show diode VF drop with one of the power supply pins.
