How to Regenerate Fuller's Earth

10/04/2009 7:42 PM

Hello.

I work in electric transformers oil immersed type, now I have to regenerate the insulating oils that have an acid content of almost 0.3 mg kOH/G, I want to use fuller's earth for bleaching and deacid the oil, but the ambiental autoritys say tha I need to clean and regenerate the the earths before must be discarded as useless, I ask to some companys that have this process systems but the most cheap are soo expensive like a round trip to the moon. the type of earth that I have for this is 30/60 mesh grade LVM. if there is someone that can help me will be highly appreciated, or if you have interest in develop this small project send me you email address to contact directly.

Thanks in advance
