Here we are using hydraulic cylinders for controlling furnace tilting.we are using pid loop for automatic tilting, They say that before starting loop should be fine tuned with all Kp,Ki,Kd values through trial and error method what are those and for what they shoud be tuned?

If you dont know what is PID parameters plz dont play with it. Its not such a easy technology. Call the vendor.

In case of PID loop ...before starting the loop you must tune the PID Parameters but Tuning must be done by an expertise .

I cant teach you here how to tune as i dont know your application and all necessary datas.better you call vendor
