Does anyone have a procedure for the testing oF instrument impulse tubing.

You make a small impulse connection portion from the sample coil which can be connected to a pressure gauge of 0 to 600 bar. Then conduct a test like testing the gauge at 360 bar , 396 bar in steps of 10% increase upto 130% from the rated pressure.

This gives the indication whether the impulse tubing is capable of withstanding the rated pressure.
