Contact the original equipment manufacturer for advice.

Look in Grainger on line catalog they have a good assortment, and list shaft size, spline numbers, mounting flange type and bolt spacing, inlet pipe size and type and outlet pipe type and size, as well as flow rate, and pressure rating.

Hi GAT333,

Can you tell me which Country you are in and, whether it is critical that the pumps have a 9 spline drive?

Can you also give the name and or spec' on the "small excavator" you mention please? Is it a JCB for instance?

Take care.

NEITHER OF THEM LOOK LIKE MINE ,GONA BE SURE AS SOON AS I GET MY HAND ON THE SERVICE MANUAL.

IT SHURE DONT LOOK LIKE A DOUBLE PUMP BUT SOMETIME IT'S NOT THE REAL PICTURE .

DID SOME SEARCH ON THE NET YESTERDAY,FOUND A PRINCE DOUBLE PUMP THAT FIT IN ,JUST NEED TO CHECK THE PRICE, COULD BE EXPENSIVE ...

Hi Guest,

Thanks for your reply post.

I figured you are getting or have a second digger so you hardly want to pay 'through the nose' for two motors?

I am still looking but, you, with the digger in front of you can either measure or judge whether the actual face plates fit in the same place. I realise the motors may not be the same shape. If the motors I found may work, or any you find which are not OEM, but are a ¼ the cost?????? You know? Have you gotten in touch with the suppliers you mentioned? Is there an urgency about this or can you afford to give me time to write and receive email?

I thought you meant a pump to fit on each of the tracks? What do you mean by a double pump? And is there any chance of a pic please?

Do you have the fitted motors there or not?

Take care

Re: Hydraulic Pump

ok i think we have a misunderstanding motor are fine,

pump is my problem

the fellows who haved the rig change a double pump for a one pump configuration and add a spliter to the the plumbing

(originaly there was 2 pump in tandem, plumb to 2 different controle)

easy way to solve a problem but it make another one

by changing to a one pump on a spliter the flow of the pump change from one side of the spliter to the other one depanding on the demande

if you do thing one at a time it's good but if you ask for 2 different thing at the same time (like traction) flow is not equal on the 2 traction motor

i understand that my traction motor may not be exactly on the same condition (wear)

as for time it's not a problem if i find something than am ready if not than i just wait, it's gona be a winther project

if somebody know where i can find a decent pair of track chain and 2 sprocket for this thing (KUBOTA KH18L)

BY THIS WEEK END I WILL TAKE PICTURE

as everybody shure find out i am french speaking so excuse my lousy english

thank Gat

Hi GAT333,

Many thanks again for your reply post.

Yes a huge misunderstanding there from me!

I will still continue to look and possibly email about what you need. And you actually need either a single action pump to go with the one you have, or do you need one--- .......double action pump?

With regard to the tracks, do you need the whole track for both sides, or only to replace any damaged and worn bits?

If you opened the link I sent yesterday, you would have seen that there is a whole lot of stuff that fits your machine, including engine gaskets, etc. Not sure if there was any tracks but will check the availability.

Is it possible to send my your business postal address by PM please?

I have been in touch with several sites and they ask for your business postal address and or post code.

I know you are in Canada, but do you know of any Kubota spares or dealerships which are within reach, or are you prepared to buy second hand (goods unseen) and have they sent to you?

Take care

Do not worry about your English! It is a damn sight better than my French!

DESCRIPTION OF A TANDEM PUMP:

The SPD1 series of double pumps consists of two

SP20B pump sections. The typical performance of

each section and the features of the pump are the

same as indicated for the SP20B series of pumps.

Hello GAT333,

Thank you for getting back to me, though I expected it to be by PM as you were going to list some of your postal address.

You may want to ask admin to remove the post with your address on it?

What do you mean by this second part in parenthesis?

JUST NEED A GOOD USE OR NEW PAIR OF TRACK CHAIN AND 2 SPROCKET FOR THIS RIG

(MY PAD ARE OK BUT I AM GONA BUY WHAT I FOUND)

When you say you need track chain do you mean a 'track'?

So ideally Quebec would be the best place to find a supplier for your spare parts?

Take care.

PS. You should really write to admin via PM and ask them to remove your post with your address on. There is all kinds of nasty people out there ready to take your ID and run away with all your money!

Re: Hydraulic Pump

Hi GAT333,

Many thanks for the track and train description. Not had a whole lot of time tonight to check much out in the way of the track chain. But will do over the next few days.

Use this link below. Type the title of the thread and your post # you want to remove. If you want you can always copy the part of the post which has not got your name and re-post it? Up to you, OK?

Click on this hyper-link to send a post to admin.

http://cr4.globalspec.com/user/mail/addmessage?us=39

'PM' is Private Mail. Click on anyones name on the left side of a thread and you will go to their profile. Click send a post (this time on the centre right of the screen), and type as would normally.

Please let me know if you decide to buy whatever for your digger and I can focus on another item for you.

I have copied your address. Is this your company address. I am not too happy about writing your complete address to be read whenever I go to a site which asks for an address. I will usually write the zip code.

There may be a situation where I have emailed a company and they ask for more details. If the item looks good, (and the cost if it has one) I will send you the site address via your PM, OK?

Open forum like this I am typing in now, is for details of work related and answering requests. Not for real names and certainly not for postal address'. Just too risky!

Just one more thing. Write ASAP to admin, because it is the weekend now and your name and everything will be there until Monday otherwise, OK?

Take care. I look forward to the pics!

Re: Hydraulic Pump

Hi GAT333,

Thanks! Admin are very kind and helpful, you can ask anything and still get an answer. It all depends on how busy they are, but you can reckon on about a day or less for something to happen during the working week. At weekends it all slows down a lot, but, as long as you work towards that weekend and do not expect an instant answer on a Saturday Morning, you will be ok.

OH, BTW (By The Way) I have been checking out kubota Canada, which I think is near Quebec? Anyway, a complete waste of time. They deal in only up to date models and no spares that I could see. I guess you may have to order from the US and get it shipped that little bit further?

Take care.

Take care
