Why don't you ask the people who hired you? That's the proper place to start. They should have at least the basic information as to the requirements/details of your job. Is there a reason you're coming to an Internet forum before doing talking to your new colleagues?

If he\she has come to the internet for this information, one would have to question thier suitability for the position to which they have been assigned.

Perhaps this is why they have come to the net for how to perform thier job.

Regardless of where you work, documentation would exist for the requirements for the system and as an engineer they should be able to design a system to meet those criteria.

One must question the qualification process??

Sapper
