Effluent treatment latest technology

Can anyone tell me what are the latest technology available for effluent treatment in petroleum refinery application?

Mainly on biologigal treatment of wastewater.

The most common new method of wastewater treatment for the oil refining industry is the membrane bioreactor (MBR) because of its efficiency, high discharge effluent quality and relative small footprint.

You can enquire with GE Zenon for more details if you want to install one in your plant.

Yes I want to make purchase specification for new ETP.

But I dont want to go for conventional bio towers & aeration technology.

I want the latest technology need to be given as option to supplier in purchase specification.

Membrane Bio-Reactors [MBRs].

They were developed in Japan on the basis of low footprint and high separation efficiency.
