You will need to supply much more information including what part it is mentioning or the rest of the paragraph(s) this note occurs in for context.

Application information would help too.

Whatever it is, it has a 12mm diameter somewhere on it.

Looks like Screw pin(bolt), Hexagonal head and 12 mm diameter pin. But more information please.

Could you please give us some information about the part so identified in the drawing?

Hex 10 must be Hexagonal 10 mm (between faces)

E/C -> ? More information would help

REDON = Abbreviation of "redondo" (round)

Φ12 = 12 mm diameter

Kind regards

It sounds like a specification for a 12mm clearance hole for a 10mm Hex Head Cap Screw. But the screw would not be 10mm "between faces" but rather have a 10mm nominal thread diameter with, more than likely, a 1.5mm thread pitch. An M10 HHCS is about 17mm across the flats.

Not tracking on the 'E/C' either so I can't help you there.

Finally, just to be anal, the symbol you included in your original post is actually the uppercase Greek letter Phi.

If you were looking for the symbol for 'diameter' it is a lowercase Latin 'o' with a diagonal stroke.

E/C, my guess is Equipment/Component or in Spanish equipo/componente

I think,E/C means "entre centros" which means "between both centers" and "redon.."becomes "redondo" which is like to say "rounded" or "like a circle".

Thank you. So maybe its a 10 mm, round "something" centered on a 12 mm "something". A 10mm bolt in a 12mm hole would make sense but I don't know how all the other stuff applies.

I guess we need more info, just like several people already said.

The right interpretation and translation:

Hexágono de seis caras (six edges polygon) de 10 mm entre caras (10 mm between edges), redondo de 12 mm (round bar of 12 mm diameter).

Most likely it means an hexagon of 10 mm between edges to be machined from a cylindrical bar of 12 mm diameter, as for the head of a bolt, etc.

Bingo.

I think you're right. E/C means Entre/Caras (Between/Faces) and from a 12 mm round bar it's possible to machine a hex prism up to 10,39 mm between faces. GA

Kind regards
