Foam Seal Material of Storage Tanks

11/05/2009 5:38 AM

We have one tank storing "Reformate" as service.

composition of "reformate" is Total sulphur:0.3 wt ppm

Aromatic:93.88% vol

Benzene: 0.1% vol

Bromine No:0.39 gm/100 gm

For primary seal of roof, We are using polyurethane as foam material and Neoprene as foam casing material.

Now we want to use (same) polyurethane as foam material and nitrile rubber (instead of Neoprene) as foam casing material for the same above mentioned serivce.

Can anybody help me to check compatibilty of polyurethane with nitrile rubber for the same service?
