Boiler.

07-11-2009.

Dear Sirs,

I wish to inform you that one of my client having the following
problem in Boiler.

Boiler capacity :3 Ton, 10.54 Kg/cm2, FBC, Fuel : coal.
Operating Load : 9-10 Kg/cm2, 30-40 % Load, 60 % OFF time
40 % ON time.
Automatic control for ID,FD & Fuel feeder installed

System : required pressure: 5.5 Kg/cm2 .
No installation of PRV.

Please provide your suggestion with approximate estimate
for Energy saving for the above condition.
Also please send us your Energy saving product list.

You are an an Energy Auditor. What are you really asking for?

First please tell me what did you yourself find in the Boiler House during your audit visit that you need further information on.

Practically all Processing plants have Boilers 10 Bar and practically all processing machines are at/below 5 bar. Each machine will have their own PRV set between 3-4.5 bar. So now what do you want?

What are you asking from us? As an energy auditor, I'm assuming that you know how to do the calculations and figure out the recommendations.
