Inspecting Back-Hoe Excavators in Italy

01/17/2007 10:25 AM

I am participating in a public tender and the customer asks for the names and quotations of at least two quality control companies. One of them will be chosen to inspect the excavators two times: one in-factory and the other one at the port, prior to the shipment. My supplier for the excavators is in Ravenna, Italy.

It isn't really a quality control work. The inspectors must check the reality against the specifications of the customer and report whether the products comply or not.

I think a Mechanical Engineer with experience in back-hoe excavators is acceptable for this job and the customer can't say much against it.

If you are an Italian engineer or just know of a company as I need... please contact me!

Have you considered using a large construction firm or an equipment rental firm. Either maintain equipment fleets and may allready be familiar with the excavator's you are purchasing.
