Well here's something else that affects amyloid-beta and is promising in a stage 2 clinical trial for alzheimers: IVIG (intravenous interferon gamma). IFN-gamma is a natural product insofar as it is normally present in your body. Side effects reported here, rash, anemia. Not so bad.
