Frequency

In 1ph AC 25 cycle means 50hz but how can it turn on and off a bulb 100 times as for 1 cycle 2 turn on and off are only possible? 25x2=50(on off)

50cycle means 50HZ, ( 1 Cycle= positive half 0 to 180Deg + negative half 180 to 360 deg)

Hz = cps (cycles per second)
