Lochinvar Boiler - Leak on Primary Heat Exchanger

08/30/2010 12:33 PM

Got a small leak on the primary side of my Lochinvar Intellifin boiler.

It is two years old. Last year I had to replace the secondary because of installation problems. The installation problems finally got fixed, but this leak on the primary is likely a residual problem from the poor installation.

The boiler is two years old.

Should I replace the bolier or get it repaired?

If repair, what would you expect the repair costs to run me?
