My client operates a 3 Shift 24/7 150,000 Sqft manufacturing facility near Oneonta, NY that houses over 100 employees. They are making strong capital investments into the facility and have a need to add on a Full Time Plant Facilities Engineering Professional to their team.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, lead, execute and support facility maintenance, equipment upgrades and new
construction projects.
• Troubleshooting and diagnose problems
• Coach and mentor junior engineers and technicians in department.
• Identify and increase facility efficiency and improve cost savings.
• Manage outside contractors and suppliers
• Other duties and responsibilities maybe assigned based on facility project needs.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• 5 + Years experience with FDA / GMP Facility Engineering & Maintenance
• Strong experience with HVAC Systems, Boilers, Chillers, Dryers, Various Process
• Equipment, Automation (PLC's) Systems, Utility Systems, Stainless Steel Piping, filtration, tanks & valves!
• Strong OSHA Knowledge and Experience
• Education: BS Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical) or related.
