Don't they allow you to search for stuff in Las Piñas City, Philippines?

Or, are you required to ask someone else to do your searching for you?

man did I ever screw up

I dug a hole and put rocks, concrete and wood where I didn't want water or dirt.

put some water on the inside of it, and some piping and pumps to circulate the water

I didn't have any plans so I asked my wife for her thoughts and ideas.

oh well, I put it right next to the two level deck that I also built without any plans.

Heaven help me

It's hard to not agree with the other responses! The way you have stated your question might have one pondering weather you know what a swimming pool is. Try this sight for starters www.bollingerinsurance.com/.../109%20Swimming%20Pool%20Design.pdf Use the references in this paper.

I'm currently studying the mechanical design part of swimming.

Might help to look into evolution and biomechanics.
