Now some might argue that the natural process can also be a form of reforestation but I believe the intended meaning is for man to be intentionally part of the process.

I can see humans reforesting in many areas that have been burned by the many reasons, Campers, Cars exhaust systems, lighting, on and on..But the real need in this Country and many others is to replant areas that were cleared for what ever reasons that do not exist as they did in the 20',30', and 40's and beyond. This land sits unattended and erosion from water and wind leaves it baren. This land needs the attention of man's reforestation programs. We can speed up the reforestation by planting trees and nature will in time reforest but the healthy effects outweigh the cost of such programs.
