This is a very interesting system.

There was another I saw as a part of a segment on one of History Channel's Modern Marvels episodes: Supermarkets. A part of that episode featured Safeway's distribution center. If you can find it, it is also very interesting to see.

(of course, considering how often I have to re-boot my computer, it also makes me wonder what the real down-time is, and what the fall-back process is in the event of a system failure.)
