I am looking for detailed schematics for the control brd located inside the PIM of the ev1. The PIM is the box that uses 300Vdc input (from batteries/rectifier) and converts the DC into 3 phase variable frequency AC output, to run the main motor (inductive motor). I converts DC to AC by use of a 3 phase IGBT inverter gated(PWM) by this control board. This broard contains the 3 phase gate drives, control enable circuits (fed by sensors coming in from J1 and J2 on the same board), the power supplys the various parts of the board and PIM, and other safety control circuits, that enable the gates to turn on the IGBTs that this control brd feeds.
The PWB # on the board is 16241287 Rev A. However, I have not been able to find this pn anywhere online. I am working with university students to try to get this vehicle running for a sr project, so this is not a profit making venture for me or anyone envolved (other than maybe the "oooh, they got the ev1 running" propaganda value. but we will not be reselling it and are not necessarily trying to make it run identically like the original GM design.) I feel that we may be able to repair the control brd if we could get detailed schematic diagrams of this board. the IGBTs and DC caps check good.
