Hard Disk Problem

my hard disk is having a error after booting and going to restart. error is for hardware or bios setupd. what can i do.

Assuming it is the disk that is the problem and everything worked just before it didn't...

Get another disk, load an OS on it--basic configuration only--and boot from it. Place the old disk in slave configuration or set it up as an external USB/eSATA connection. Recover as many files as you can from your original disk.

Perform a low level format of the original disk if you want to try to recover it, but it is probably no good (if it really was the disk that was bad).

There is soo many things that can cause this problem. Check wiring & connections - especially if you've accidently moved it, bumped it, etc. And yet again - that isn't enough information to give much responce to.
