How Picaxe's Are Started?

04/01/2012 11:32 AM

Can somebody tell me whether the picaxe AXE110P datalogger is supposed only to run (perform mission) with the PC connected or it can get started some way independently from the PC?

I have studied this already: it's not clear whether how and when the PC may be disconnected after the device had received the command to log.

The computer is only used to program the device...Once it is programmed for a "mission" it operates independently....

Do you think it is safe to disconnect the cable from the running device - just after uploading the program to it?

(I registered on their picaxe forum but hell they do not allow to post qwestions there)
