Difference Between SFU & FSU

What is the difference between Switch Fuse unit(SFU) and Fuse Switch unit(FSU).What is the working principle of the both SFU &FSU?

Here it is. For what it is worth. Obsolete now.

The moving fuse is not preferred any longer. For quite some time, 'quad-break' Fuse combination units have been prevalent, in which the fuse is completely isolated by 4 breaks.

To add to what Mr. KVS has excellently depicted pictorially, I shall add the following few words.

Switch Fuse Unit (SFU): In this unit, the switch is seperate and the fuse is installed external to the switch. The fuse is stationery.

Fuse Switch Unit (FSU): In this fuse is part of the Switch. The fuses are moving and the moving fuse performs the switching action.
