OS

I want to reach BIOS setup of PC for new installation of OS.

As instructed

"When you first start the computer, look for a short message telling you which key to press for setup. For example, some computers will have this message: Press DELETE to enter setup.

If your computer doesn't give you such a message, try pressing these commonly used keys during startup:

  • DELETE
  • F1
  • F2
  • F3, then F2
  • F10
  • CTRL+ALT+ESC
  • CTRL+ALT+S
  • ESC"

so is this window represent the above said BIOS ?

Ok it just correct to press the bios setup key.Because we have different type of Bios. But when installing OS even that linux we need only to setup the Main main as main bios to set the correct time manual an confirm whether our HDD and CDrom is present during Setup. And one important menu is the BOOt menu or the advance BIOS setup to set our boot sequence for CD/DVD rom as our OS CD/DVD installer could be readed once you save your BIOS and the post will boot strap the startup files of our Operating System installer>so That you can install and parttition your HDD and setup your OS.
